Bookish and always on the go

I kind of accidentally (impulsively?) started a blog one night after I should have been in bed. I hope I don’t regret it. I have things to say and I can talk about a LOT of things, but I don’t know if I have anything to say that anyone will want to HEAR. And that’s kind of the point, isn’t it? To say things that others want to hear. That might encourage or enrich their lives in some way. That might resonate with someone and connect us as kindred spirits. So here I go, into the unknown, speaking into the void, to see if there is any response.

I’m a little late to the game, I know. Blogs have been around for a minute. But I am often a minute late and my ducks are almost never in a row. Maybe you can relate.

Here’s a little more about me. I am a/n:

mother of 5, wife, homeschooler, bibliophile, fashionista (debated), thrifter, classicist, amateur herpetologist, military mom, bookseller, nature lover, anglophile, flipper, upcycler, real estate agent, ironic humor appreciator, foodie (“epicurious” I call it), aspiring sailor, devotee of beauty, armchair detective, champion of the arts, follower of Jesus.

If you can relate to anything here, I hope you’ll stick around. Send me a message and tell me about YOU.

Perhaps a beautiful friendship is about to begin.

With anticipation,

Kristi
